Speculation on the value of blockchain is rife, with Bitcoin as the first and most famous application of blockchain. Yet Bitcoin is only the first application of blockchain technology that has captured the attention of government, industry and society.
But blockchain is more than bitcoin. Blockchain is promising technology with the potential to transform industries. Supply Chain, real estate, healthcare, banking, Intellectual Property, fashion are industries Blockchain will most likely disrupt.
Despite the hype, blockchain is still an immature technology and there is yet no clear recipe for success. What we often see is unstructured experimentation of blockchain solutions without strategic evaluation of the value or feasibility of adoption.
During the roundtable discussion we will seek for an answer on following questions
• What problem are we trying to solve that Blockchain technology might or might not
offer the solution for?
• How can companies determine if there is a strategic value in blockchain
